Every year we host our Annual Awards and Presentation Evening. This event is to formally recognise members of our staff who have successfully completed training and qualifications during the past year and to acknowledge the length of service given to the Association. The event is also an opportunity to sincerely thank our team of volunteers for their invaluable support to the Association and to the needs of those to whom we serve.
We encourage staff to undertake a wide range of training and qualifications associated to the housing, care and support services that we provide and to contribute towards the future development of the Association. As a result, the Association was recognised as 'Lincoln's Most Supportive Empoyer' by Lagat Training and Recruitment Provider.
Awards & Presentation Evening 2011
I would like to thank everyone who supported the above event held at the new Showroom in Lincoln. With over 130 in attendance, the evening was a huge success. Awards for achievement and service were presented by both the Chairman and representatives from Lincolnshire Young Carers. Thanks were received from Age UK Lincoln as a result of our fund raising efforts during 2010 and ‘Make a Wish Foundation’ and ‘Young Carers’, our chosen charities for 2011, were present to provide us with an insight into the work that they do. Our chosen Charity Day for 2011 will be held on Friday 23rd September. The invaluable work of ‘Friends of LACE Housing’ was also recognised.
The evening concluded with our Special Awards, nominated by staff, residents and relatives. We received many nominations and the task to shortlist and agree on an overall winner was incredibly difficult. However, this year’s winners were as follows:

Knowledge Susan Keeler Ashby Court Care Home
Commitment Teresa Grey Ruckland Court Care Home
Dignity Sam Charity Brick Kiln Place
Integrity Jo-Anne Roose Ruckland Court Care Home
