Extra Care Sheltered Housing is designed for frail older people who have high support and personal care needs. Extra Care and support services are provided within self contained flats, which are available to rent. An additional service charge is payable in accordance with the terms of the tenancy agreement.

Olsen Court is located in the North East of Lincoln off Carlton Boulevard.  Olsen Court is a new development that officially opened by HRH the Countess of Wessex during July 2006.  Overlooking open countryside, Olsen Court is close to various amenities including shops, post office, public transport and a boules area.  All amenities are easily accessible by wheelchair.

Olsen Court comprises of 38 two bedroom self contained flats, on the ground and first floor.  Each flat comprises of level access shower, wash hand basin and w.c, 2 bedrooms, fully fitted kitchen, lounge, 24 hour alarm call system, door entry system and access to cable television and the internet.  Additional communal facilities include hairdressers, launderette, restaurant, lounge, coffee bar and mobility scooter storage. 

Olsen Court is built to a high design specification with additional facilities and support.  The accommodation is for older people who still value independent living but want additional security and support.  It is particularly relevant to those who require more specialised amenities and greater support than is usually available in retirement accommodation.  A 24 hour care team, organised in conjunction with Lincolnshire Social Services, will enable tenants to receive an appropriate level of care and support, as and when they need it.
