Day Care Centres

Day Care Centres provide social outreach for housebound older people.

Ashby Court Day Care Centre, Ashby Avenue, Hartsholme, Lincoln

Situated in the South of Lincoln, the Day Centre was built in 1984 and refurbished during 2007 in order to meet the needs of housebound Older People in the City of Lincoln. The Day Centre now provides an opportunity for Social outreach for Older People from within the South of the City and surrounding villages.

A programme of weekly activities include 'Movement to Music', Art Class, Games, Bingo and Wii Club. Facilities include a Shop, Library, Hair Salon, Coffee Shop, Chiropodist, bathing and a Restaurant providing a three-course meal.

Adapted vehicles with a passenger lift provide a door-to-door transport service for older people with disabilities.

A team of qualified staff and volunteers provide basic care and support.

Ruckland Court Day Care Centre, Ruckland Avenue, Ermine West, Lincoln

Situated in the North of Lincoln, the Day Care Centre was purpose built in 1989, refurbished during 2007 in order to meet the needs of housebound Older People in the City of Lincoln. The Day Centre now provides an opportunity for Social outreach for Older People from within the North of the City and surrounding villages.

A programme of weekly activities includes Games and Bingo. Facilities include a Shop, Library, Hair Salon, Coffee Shop, Chiropodist, bathing and a Restaurant providing a three-course meal.
